Mr. Martin Fodor a 47 years old Slovák who works for the World Bank as a Senior Environmental Specialist swam 8.4 kilometers across lake Bosomtwe in a record time of 3 hours 17 seconds . I doubt if the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Arts is even aware of this great feat which is a feather in our cap to promoting our tourism. You will hardly hear or see in the Ghanaian media landscape things of this nature simply because its not one fouled mouthed politician who is on a name calling spree, therefore its not news worthy. In other jurisdictions, this event would have been a big news which would have been properly documented and showcased to the world to boost foreign & local tourism to Lake Bosomtwe and for that matter Ghana Credit--Kofi Akpabli ASAK 233
